How often should you change your Lexus Wiper Blades?
We would recommend that wiper blades are changed at least every 12 months depending on the number of miles that you drive each year and the amount of UV light from the sun they are exposed to. Lexus Windshield Wipers are constructed from rubber which degrades over time, with use and from UV exposure. Over time the rubber on the windscreen wipers will become harder and more brittle which can cause cracks, tears and stiffness to the blade. This will result in poorer performance from your wiper blade.

Again, we would always recommend Genuine Lexus Screenwash. Our screenwash is available free of charge with most of our wiper kits. This screenwash is suitable for temperatures down to -50 degrees Celsius, so as long as you are not planning a trip to the arctic this will work in even the coldest of weather conditions. Using the correct Lexus Screen Wash Fluid is also important as it does not react with the surface of the windscreen, rubber wiper blades or the paint of your vehicle. We have seen washing up liquid being used in the past which can cause damage to your wiper blades and cause corrosion to your paintwork. Our recommendation is to always use the genuine Lexus Screen-wash which was designed for your specific vehicle and genuine wiper blades.
